PLEASE READ: What’s the secret to building muscles? What’s the supplement I need to take or the one special exercise I need to do? 🤔
There isn’t ANY secret to building muscle, and besides these 3 factors, it’s mostly consistency 🙌🏼
1️⃣Make progress in the gym! That means getting stronger with proper form over time.
2️⃣Eat enough calories! That means being in a slight caloric plus. But don’t be in a high caloric plus because you will gain unnecessary fat which you will have to diet down afterwards. I recommend only + 100-300 calories per day. Also if you are overweight you don’t need a caloric plus because you have enough energy stored as fat.
3️⃣Recover well! That includes all the factors outside of the gym. Move well with healthy posture, avoid stress, sleep well, laugh, love, do light exercise like walking, accessory exercises like training your mobility for the squat, stretching and so on. That’s what I love about building muscle if you do it in a healthy and holistic way, it forces you to live a healthy lifestyle and that makes me happy 😊
