And finally my weakest event. Dreaded deadlifts, which came good for me.

Struggled to pull anything decent through the entire holiday, so was over the moon to get 240 off the deck, let alone 260, which is a new PB for me.

Sure as hell didn't walk away with heaviest deadlift, but did walk away with biggest total of the day and the 1st place medal for the 120 category (thicc Bois). Have to thank @sophbr16 for her support, keeping me fed and watered throughout the year never mind the day.

Bench was a bit of a shit show from Sunday.

170 KG
180 KG
180 KG

Warm ups were feeling good, and as you can see in the video, 170 flew up. Threw on 180 thinking it should be ok, and gassed! Shit happens, on to the next one.

Still happy to have came away with biggest bench of the day with my opener though.

Squats from yesterday at Scottish Classics.

260KG

Happy that I managed to go 3/3 on squats as the weeks prior had been on holiday and relaxed a little with training and eating. Still over the moon to pull these out of the bag and open with my previous 1rm and 3rd attempt at Easterns.

Also walked away with the biggest squat of the day.

Time to train again and see where it takes us.

240kg felt not bad for a change, be the start of a good relationship please. Back downs at 180kg for 5×5, which moved pretty speedy. Feet up bench single at 150 but forgot to record!

Bench: single at 175kg, overshot the 8RPE by a fair bit, 132.5 for a grim as fuck 11 reps, followed by 127.5 for 10!
