Schedule has gone out of the window atm. Bench doubles at 147.5, three sets (third shown). Got way too far under the uprights on the last set, second rep was basically pushed up against them 🙄. Scraped my head across the knurling afterwards for good measure too 😬. #nwmasters #powerlifting

Heavy deads. Target was 192.5x3x3, got 3/2/1. Did sets 1 and 2 DOH - vid is set 2, which features a surprised face as I drop it. Grip felt loose after the first rep, but tried to rush a second whilst everything was still activated. Tried a third set with straps, but rep one was grindy so stopped there. #betterpracticehook #nwmasters #powerlifting

Heavy dead day. Had chiro again on Tues. Lower back not perfect but much better, pleasantly surprised with deads. 185x3x3, first set shown. Did first 2 sets with straps but struggled with breathing, so did last set DOH (with 10 sec resets in between reps). #nwmasters #powerlifting

Med squat and heavy bench. Squat 155x3x3, bench 137.5x3x3. Had a chiro session Sat, so moved everything back a couple of days. Lower back still not right, weight was shifting on the way back up. Bench felt heavy. #nwmasters #powerlifting

Heavy squat and med bench. Was aiming for 4 sets on squat, with a slightly lighter first set. Did 170x3, then 175x2x3 - the last rep was on the limit (vid) so didn't do a third set at 175 (felt much slower than it looks). Bench was 122.5x3x3. Grip was L60/R73 yesterday, so slightly improved. #nwmasters #powerlifting
