🧽 SPONGE PATTERN 🧽
This is activity is totally inspired by magna-qubix barrier activity post from @cara_florance .
I havent been feeling too good since the start of the week, maybe its the change in weather or the stress of the show we are supposed to do in V’s school. But I havent been feeling up to brainstorming new ideas for activities. So when V asked for his daily dose of activity, I quickly put together this activity with yesterday’s material.
We both set on either side of the box, and the challenge was to not see what other person was doing. I read out instructions to V (like pick yellow strip, place in standing line) and we both made the pattern at the same time. I kept telling him not to peek, and he didnt. When in the end I saw the result, I was quite impressed! 🧽Benefits of this activity - ⭐️ Learning to understand & follow the instructions. ⭐️ Concept of Standing line, sleeping line, below, above
⭐️ Color sorting
⭐️ Pattern formation by listening only
⭐️ Develops focus skills
