Ever been to a black sand beach before?
It turns out that Santorini‘s color palette extends beyond white and blue after all. Hop over to the southeastern part of the island and you’ll find the unique, black sand of Perissa Beach- evidence of the island’s volcanic activity over the centuries. The only other black sand beach I’ve been on was in Ilha Grande, Brazil- and let me tell ya, if the sun is blaring, going barefoot is a baddd idea!
