This job wore me down. But happy with the finish product. Non-rectified porcelain that didn’t want to agree with me from the first cut of the job (toilet flange). The builder of this subdivision from the 80s was taken to court for poor craftsman ship. Framing ,sheathing, and plumbing all considered sub-par at best. .
. So one can either make excuses, or rise to the occasion. .
Two things irrelevant to the fore-mentioned that I misjudged where the pencil glass detail below the nosing, and the installation of the glass door. .
Bullnose and glass both 1/8” thinner in dimension than the primary tile. And of course why wouldn’t the shower bar supports end up in the dead center of my glass🤣. The #milwaukee diamond hole saw rose to the occasion. After a few jobs of using them, I can state that they have not disappointed. Use water or their lifespan is minuscule. .
I swear the directions for the enclosure glass where written in a third world country, and intended to irritate to the installer. Found@used repeating several steps. Any number stated seemed irrelevant because there was no indication of where to pull measurements from. .
happy with the final product. Happy it’s done. Happy it’s right. .
