For mum ♥️
I got her to pick out some succulents she liked & made this for her. ❣️
🚯 I found this random can littered on the ground. I always pick up rubbish that crosses my path. This time though, to my surprise, it said “share a coke with Mum” & you should have see my eyes light up with excitement to put a plant in it & give it to my Mumma. 🧸🥰
♻️ I don’t drink soft drink / fizzy drink / carbonated water, so all my can planters I either find as rubbish or my friends give them to me. It’s crazy how much litter I have picked up in my time & I’m only 23 years old... 😥 Please help keep our planet beautiful & atleast put your rubbish into a bin. Please don’t litter or leave your rubbish behind! 🌏🙏🏽
⚠️ Check out my IGTV’s to see how I up-cycle cans 😊
1. Clean the can, make sure there is no leftover drink or residue. (If you don’t clean it properly, it can cause mold or bacteria & it can kill your plant 😢).
2. I use a can opener to remove the top.
3. I use a drill to make holes underneath & down the bottom sides of the can (for water drainage).
4. I add rocks at the bottom before putting in the soil, to give the can more weight so it doesn’t fall over & to try prevent root rot (less soil & roots sitting in water) (if soil & roots sit in water for too long with not enough water drainage holes, it can cause bacteria & mold (root rot) which can kill your plant).
