Here's my quick version #Beef &Broccoli #StirFry . Once in a while we want a change of taste, so, l prepare an #Oriental or Thai dish for my family. Since wheat is a problem for many members of my family, l use a gluten-free #Tamari in the place of #SoySauce . To make this Oriental dish, l marinated, thinly, sliced round steak in rice wine, mixed peppercorns, salt and pepper for an hour in the fridge. I cut a head of broccoli into flowerettes and cut 2 large carrots into matchsticks.
I sauteed a thinly sliced onion in organic avacodo oil in an extra large #wok . I, then, added 2 red chili peppers, some crushed garlic and a large piece of ginger, grated. I let it saute together for a few minutes. Then l added in the beef and allowed to cook for a few minutes, stirring often. l added in the carrots and broccoli and continued cooking until al dente with lid. I added in a couple tbsps tamari sauce, a tbsp maple syrup, and a tbsp of oyster sauce. I topped off the beef mixture with some sesame oil. l served the beef and vegetables on top of bed of basmati rice. As usual, we enjoyed the dish with lots of hot chili sauce or red siracha. So, good! . .
