Got invited to a Garden State party. A Garden-Themed dinner in honor of showing @zachbraff ’s masterpiece to our friends for the first time. Gotta represent Jersey. So I made 8 different things for 7 people, & now I have a bread hangover.
The flower star breads were made using beet, carrot, roasted red pepper, & turmeric, the epi baguettes made with spinach, basil, & roasted garlic. The fougasse was whole grain with spelt & whole wheat, topped with herbs and vegan parm. The snails had cinnamon & sugar, & were accompanied with raw caramel sauce, made from almond butter & dates. All the bread was sourdough (obviously) & the crackers were made with my leftover starter, spelt, & seeds. - 1 day ago
