The tool kit of a kambo practitioner.... Everyone has their different styles and tastes but the essentials remain the same:
#Sage : used in ceremony to #smudge cleanse the space and person of negative energy or bacteria in the air.
#kambostick : the medicine is collected from the back of the frog (released from glands behind the neck) by tribes people in the amazon and put onto the stick where it can be safely transported to us
#waterbowl : used to mix the medicine and wet tissue when removing the points.
#knife : this is a very personal thing, I use a pallet knife as it's easy to apply and has no sharp edges.
#palosanto : a sacred wood used in ceremony to smudge and promote recovery after a session. (Sustainably harvested only)
#candle : used to burn the sage and burning sticks, also in a hymalaya salt candle can release negative ions to alleviate anxiety and mental stress caused by positive ions and electromagnetic radiation.
#Dragonsblood : harvested from the tree Dracaena cinnabari, a stringent soap like liquid that is used to treat the open gates during recovery. Its anti- septic and has a huge number of medicinal benefits along with a vast number of scientific study's supportingits uses.
#singingbowls : used to soothe and realign the chakras and energies in recovery and process.
#burningsticks : these sticks are used to open the gates (removing a layer of skin and revealing the lymphatic fluid which carries the kambo from the body) some people use unscented insence for this too.
#blowpipe : used to pass rapè a sacred medicine used traditionally by tribes people for meditation and focus, it can also induce a purge when there is a blockage.
