Beautiful things take time.
Maybe that is one of the reasons we love flowers so much. Roses need to be planted, watered, weeded. As they grow, they flourish when they are pruned. And later, we get to harvest those sweet smelling and gorgeous blossoms.
In many seasons of life (and motherhood), good things take time to grow. If you are in a season of waiting, let these wild roses remind you to "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him" [Psalm 37:7a]. And just like the real life roses in my garden, this wild rose floral print took months to blossom. I will jump on stories tomorrow afternoon to walk you through the process I used to design this print. - 10 days ago
