Meal prep Sunday idea! Here is a recipe for healthy chicken lettuce wraps from Skinny Fitalicious that is only 275 calories per serving!! 😱Only 63 calories of fat!... All you’ll need is 1.25 lbs ground chicken breast; 1 tbsp extra Virgin olive oil, 1/2 cups of grated carrots, 8 ounces water chestnuts roughly chopped, 2tbsp garlic minced, 1.5 tbsp chili paste, 1 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar,  2 tbsp coconut aminos or GF soy, 2 tbsp sriracha, 2 tbsp GF hoisin sauce, 4 cups butter lettuce or iceberg, and 1/4 cup green onions sliced. To cook, start off by adding the olive oil to a large sauté pan and bring it to medium heat. Cook  the minced garlic, carrots, and chicken for 8 or so minutes then add the chili paste, coconut aminos, sriracha, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and water chestnuts. Bring it to a boil then let simmer for 5 minutes. Once finished, plate with lettuce and green onions. Total time for this recipe is only like 25 minutes... Yum!! 😋💕

1. A calorie deficit is a must for fat loss. If you're eating too much - whether it's healthier foods or not - you will NOT LOSE FAT and will likely gain weight.⁠⠀⁠⠀
⁠⠀⁠⠀
2. Hormones insulin, cortisol, leptin, and ghrelin must be balanced for fat loss or you’ll be a big mess with cravings, poor energy, lack of sleep and you'll have ZERO motivation to exercise. Balancing these hormones is a combination of lifestyle and food.⁠⠀⁠⠀

3. Protein needs to be high to avoid reduction of lean muscle while in a deficit. Protein keeps you full and keeps cravings away. Eating for fat loss = eating MORE FOOD than you think. It’s just different foods in different ratios/amounts than you’re used to.⁠⠀⁠⠀
