This Is What Inequality Looks Like - when I first picked up this book, I was pretty scornful. Here was an atas, pretentious looking book which was going to discuss a decidedly non-atas topic. How authentic could it be?
I was humbled after reading it.
Not only did it shed insight into the lives of Singaporeans we see every day, but there was no condescension and preachiness. It was a book that literally showed what inequality meant, without judgment. It made me realize that, well, I should be grateful for what I have and to help those who are less fortunate. - 5 hours ago
