What is your priority #1 ? 🤔 Anyone ever feel like your work/or your family is the most important thing in the world?
I used to think that my work was for sure. 👩💻 I always prioritized my school work when I was in University. I would frequently work 12 hours straight without getting up or eating, or pausing to take a breath of fresh air. I would go weeks without working out or moving my body in any significant way which is pretty sad.
We are supposed to move our bodies!! 🏃♀️ We shouldn't be sitting for 8 hours of the day!! ❌ Make sure to get up and take frequent breaks, go for walks to get a bit of exercise and appreciate the nature, and/or chat with a colleague or a friend! Your priority #️⃣1️⃣ should be YOU! I get in my workouts every morning because it's my favourite way to start the day! 🤸♀️🏋️♀️ Get those endorphins going, sweat out the toxins, increase blood flow and oxygen intake, and calm the mind! Perfect to set up my work day! I'm still sometimes guilty of sometimes focusing too much on work and not letting myself take a 30 mins walking break on busy days. The more we move our bodies and make it a habit, the better we will feel mentally and physically! We'll be able to show up as our best selves for our families and be even more productive at work! 😊😁
