Life isn’t always straight, even or fair. Sometimes you have to be willing to look sideways to see the perfect view.
.
Type 1 Diabetes manages to knock you sideways on an almost daily basis... Just when you think you’ve got it all figured out, the picture changes, & you just have to keep an open mind. Because, as much as you want to, you can’t put it in a neat little box or relax. Take what’s going on with Cara at the moment for example... She’s gotten a bit of a winter bug. No biggy, right?!? But the number it does on her blood sugar levels is 😅 The thing is, to me, having an open mind  means seeing some of the positives that come with managing this disease on a daily basis... So, I asked Cara what she thought they were, & this is what she said “I get to spend time with my family more often, & it’s made me realise that everyone is different, & no one is perfect, & there’s a lot of things to be grateful for... I think I notice that more”. There’s nothing more I can add to that really, is there?

Чем полезна Падмасана или поза Лотоса в йоге?

К ее положительным эффектам можно отнести то, что вследствие регулярного выполнения этой позы:
⭐улучшается работа органов малого таза; ⭐формируется и в дальнейшем сохраняется хорошая осанка;
⭐улучшается процесс пищеварения;
⭐снижается кровяное давление;

After hurting my leg in padmasana (lotus pose) while teaching I’ve been afraid to go back to practicing this pose.  After handling my leg with care and giving it time to heal-I decided to return to it today and it was a success.

The lesson - listen to the conversation your body is trying to have with you, move slowly, make sure you are warmed up, and you will know when you are ready to go back to something.  Don’t let fear hold you back 💛 #padmasana #letgooffear #listentoyourbody #loveyourbody
