🥗 GROCERY STORE ON THE GO:⁣⁣
⁣
🚨 Almost every grocery store has pre-made food and a salad bar with endless amounts of options, nutrition facts and you can even weigh out your food. Literally no excuses!⁣⁣
🚨 I went to whole foods yesterday, bought 4 oz of chicken for the day and filled a salad bowl with a ton of veggies with 0 dressings. It’s exactly what I would’ve done at home.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
🥪 PRE-PLAN & BRING YOUR FOOD:⁣⁣
⁣
🚨 Prepare food ahead of time based on your macros/diet, measure out food, pack it up and eat. If you want a cheat meal on the road, substitute it for 1-2 of your meals and get right back to your plan next day.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
🍔 MAKE SMART CHOICES AT RESTAURANTS:⁣⁣
⁣
🚨 Choose an item with the least amount of ingredients as it is easier to track.⁣⁣
🚨 Make sure to pick a protein source as the main dish and then chose a carb. Chances are, anything you order out has fat cooked in such as oil and butter.⁣
🚨 Choose your veggies and make sure they are steamed and not deep fried or cooked in oil. Don’t be afraid to ask the server. It’s 2019 ... they get it.⁣⁣

Prepping!!!! So we have just under 2 months before we start the weaning journey! After reading a lot of different opinions on weaning I’ve decided to follow @sr_nutrition way. I’m keen to avoid the jars and pouches which are sold in stores as much as I can. So if we are out and about I’ve just purchased this handy little gadget so I can make my own pouches to feed to little lady!

I got a really unexpected and nice compliment yesterday after my lunch break. A woman I see from time to time in the break room told me I had the “best lunches.” 😳 I thanked her but I said it was just cutting up stuff putting things together and she said I did that well. That was very nice of her to say. Though I think my lunches aren’t that special. 😅 Speaking of lunch, yesterday I sliced up cucumbers, carrots, turnip, cup of raspberries and an orange. This wasn’t too filling so by the time I got home I was starting to get hungry. I snacked on some pecans while I cooked two porkchops in butter and after threw in broccoli with more butter and fresh lime juice. Salt and pepper to taste. Dipped my porkchops in mustard then my dessert was sunflower seeds. I actually need to go shopping soon to also prep some protein for lunch. I’m waiting 2 more days to see how my body react to eggs since that is what my naturopath doc recommend doing since the eggs came off very reactive on my test. We shall see! .
