Dinner for 5-6 days cooked on two stove top burners. - Steamed Vegetables: 1 Whole garlic clove, 2 whole red and orange peppers, 2 organic zucchinis. 1 bunch of beets, 2 stalks of broccoli, a few shallots, and this week I tried steaming some Taro root.
- Grains: Boiled @lundbergfarms short grain brown rice, black beans, lentils, kidney beans and garbanzo beans (NOT canned) from @bxbotanical market
It takes a little over an hour to cook the grains. Everything is kept in the back of the refrigerator throughout the 5-6 days, for maximum shelf life. I eat half of a hard-boiled egg with dinner each day (no yolk).
