Allow yourself to change course in life.
It is OK to want different things then you wanted a year ago or five years ago.
As your life unfolds you will discover more things about yourself and about what is truly most important. You will realize dreams you never knew you had and get to know the person you were always meant to become.
As this transformation unfolds in your life, you may try and cling to the life that you once knew so well. Old ways provide comfort - but they won't allow you to grow.
Is it time to let go and begin to build a new life for yourself? Transformation is a beautiful, yet sometimes uncomfortable process.
You can make it easier by crafting your road map with these 4 questions:
1. Who is the person that you want to be. What characteristics define the future you or define the person you aspire to be? Think about how you want to be perceived by the most important people in your life, as well as those that you work and interact with daily. What kind of impact do you wish to have on those around you?
2. Think about your relationships, with your spouse or your future spouse if you're still looking, with your kids if you have them, and with your friends and family. What do these relationships look and feel like when you are at your best?
3. What kind of work that you want to be doing. Do you want to pursue a different roll within the current organization that you work in? Or perhaps for you a career change is in order. What do you want to be spending your days doing?
4. Go deep on the details. Get specific:
Describe in detail your ideal, yet average day. You've covered your character, your relationships, your work, and now add in some of the small things.
Saturdays are the perfect time for this kind of work and introspection. Do you need help with this process? Send me a DM, I love helping people get started crafting this new life that aligns with a new vision. - 19 hours ago
