It’s national mushroom day!! *save this post for reference*
Mushrooms are one of my favorite ways to combat adrenal fatigue. They’re insane as far as antioxidants and anti inflammatory properties go and are an adaptogen, meaning they communicate with the systems in your body to reach a level of homeostasis.
So if blood pressure, cholesterol or cortisol levels are too high or low, mushrooms correct them.
How cool is that?! Some of my favorite shroomies are: 🍄 cordyceps: aka the zombie mushroom. Heals the adrenals and packs a powerful punch for long lasting natural energy
🍄lions mane: amazing for a brain boost
🍄chaga: aka the king of mushrooms. 147,600 on the ORAC value scale (kale is 1770 if that puts it in perspective), used to cure the big C word in other countries (not here tho bc we like to profit off it 🤫), anti inflammatory and amazing immune support
Chaga works great as a tea or coffee substitute.
I’ve added lions mane to my Teecino herbal coffee in the morning before for an added boost.
Or just toss a tsp or 2 straight in your smoothie (calm your tits it doesn’t taste like mushrooms)
