The turquoise ocean sparkled before her. Under the Pisces full
moon energy she slowly, for the crystal clear water was cold for this Queenslander, and probably not at all gracefully, sunk into the aqua fluid of life.
For the ocean had always called her, this area in particular, the energy of the rocks; the headland jutting its rainforest of green lushness into the calm seas; the alluring scent of the trees of the national park.
She could almost see the First People living so abundantly here, enjoying the fish and seeds and fruit of the prolific pandanus trees.
She submerged into the generous waters of the bay, remembering now that this was “the why” for moving here....She’d lost track of that ever so briefly with unwellness, bushfires and now black mould (her kryptonite) in her unit blinds.
But the sweet coolness and embrace of this salty calmness enveloped her. She sang a heartfelt song to the dolphins and whales, calling their energy to her, asking them to help her release all that had been: the losses, the griefs, her former willingness to carry others’ wounds that were never hers to begin with, the betrayals from both herself and others, and the lack of self care and love.
And as the cleansing ocean waves washed all this from her aura and body, she felt such joy, such relief, such gratitude for her journey. For understanding the wondrousness of it all.
For through the journey she had discovered herself, no longer just the programming, now the consciousness. She knew she was home now, safe now, at home in herself, this human body. Home now in her physical home, this beloved Noosa region, a quick walk from the sky blue sea.
The blue/green Larimar waters washed away all that had held her captive.
She surrendered at last.
The battle was over.
She had no need of armour now; no reason to be that soldier. The war within her had been faced head on. She’d faced her fears. She could walk so very tall now.
As she slowly tumbled her way to shore ( surely it wasn’t time to leave already??), she gave thanks to all that was and to herself.
She now knew that everything truly was ok now.
That she had earned her freedom.
