Collecting images for tomorrow’s #innermusemembership workshop (for those interested, sign up tonight so that you can join us tomorrow) as we will be creating our #musejournals , which are basically personal books of inspiration and empowerment. 💫
Georgia O’Keeffe is huge #museinspo for her truth, courage, and dedication to her craft. When I’m feeling down on myself, when I’m too in my own head or caught up in self-doubt, I think of Georgia and she brings me back to earth.
She painted what was in her heart and she didn’t give a shit if people thought her flowers looked like female body parts. 🌸 She let them believe what they wanted and kept going. She was relentlessly dedicated to her craft and her art, camping outside in all kinds of harsh conditions to capture the landscapes as she wanted to. She was quoted several times by saying she experienced fear all the time, but she never let fear stop her. At the end of her life when she lost her eyesight, she turned to sculpting as her outlet when she could no longer paint.
Since starting my #innermuse practice I’ve found a lot of joy and satisfaction in studying, researching, going deeper on the people and objects that inspire me. There’s so much richness and story out there waiting to be discovered.
