This past year I taught a monthly HIGH Fitness class at @intermountain Riverton Hospital. I loved teaching this class so much! It was different than anything else I’ve taught- the venue itself, the amazing people and friends I met here, the parties we had.
I had incredible support from my husband, so many close friends (and old friends I haven’t seen in ages) my neighbors (and old neighbors who have moved away) my kids, mom, aunt, and sis-in-laws. And the amazing hospital staff too- they provided a better sound system, got new fans, did fun giveaways. Each month got better and better!
And each month I got better and better as an instructor. My first few classes, I did not leave my stage (except the one time I fell off said stage). Then I starting ‘choreographing’ in 4 counts here and there where I could jump off and on the stage if I needed too. And then one month a song started and I just jumped off and on the stage with no forethought, it had become second nature.
The reason I share this with you is because things will get easier with practice. The more you do something, the better you’ll become. And I firmly believe the mistakes you make will make you even better. If I totally mess up on a song, that flop is now imprinted in my brain forever and I will never make (that exact) flop again.
This journey has been amazing. I love teaching group fitness. I’m so grateful @lauraklarman trusted me enough and asked me to do this class for her. I love my people who come to my classes. Thank you. And come see me again. I get around...
