Dark chocolate has been given a lot of good publicity in recent years, but a lot of the research is funded for by chocolate such companies and focuses on the COCOA EXTRACT found in dark chocolate, not the actual chocolate.

The thing is that, although cocoa does have some benefits, this cocoa is mixed with lots of fats and sugars so these “benefits” can be obtained through so many other superfoods too without the extra saturated fat and sugar.

In fact, Milk Chocolate has less fat and more calcium✅
⠀
I personally do not like dark chocolate ❌🙇🏻‍♀️
..and so therefore, if I am going to eat that magical stuff🍫 I damn well choose the one I actually ENJOY the most What’s your fav?

Chocolate is generally eaten as a treat for most, so if we are eating it (as part of an overall healthy lifestyle!) I think it’s ABOUT TIME WE STOP FEELING GUILTY about choosing milk/white chocolate and just choose

Went to a party at a restaurant...got myself a salad that I customized (left off point worthy foods that didn't interest me) with the balsamic on the side. It ended up being really good!!!!! Once I started eating, I wasn't interested in the burgers and fries everyone else had. NSV. Not always easy but it's worth it! .

Day 5 Detox - salads, vegetables, fruits and nuts on the last day. Fruit salads, fruits and nuts kept me going and a cauliflower mushroom dinner balanced out all the sugar and fat.

Day 5 Detox - salads, vegetables, fruits and nuts on the last day. Water does so much for us! From hydration, to healthy skin, to promoting better bodily functions, adequate water intake should be high on our list of priorities.⠀

It fuels our workouts, increases our energy and helps us maintain a healthy body. Women should aim for at least 2.2 litres per day and men should aim for at least 3 litres.⠀
