You ever look down at your tummy and see a chubby little baby fat protruding from your pants like it’s purposely peeking from your shirt saying hi to you? Because I do, all the time. I always tell myself that it is time to cut off that extra rice, to avoid eating too many cheeseburgers or pizza, or to not drink bottles and bottles of soda in a day, but I can’t quite will myself to do it. It’s hard, isn’t it? Because the main mindset about diet is cutting off a huge chunk of what you eat on a daily basis, which sometimes leads to eventually skipping meal after meal after meal. And maybe that’s what’s scary about dieting; we always think that trying a diet means not eating any food at all. Or at least that’s what it was for me.  But I soon learned that skipping meals, or eating a ridiculously little amount of food just to lose some of that weight is extremely unhealthy, and it may worsen your status rather than help it. To lose some weight, you don’t particularly need to eat less; you just have to right. And to help you with that, we’ve rounded up some food that you can eat to lose some of that baby fat of yours! Imagine to my surprise when I found out the reason for my energy failure over the last month and some had to do with.... protein intake.

Yeah that’s right.

PROTEIN. I was laughing when I found out this morning. In the process of getting control of my nutrition and making sure I was getting my Veggies and water in- I somehow accidentally decreased my protein intake to almost half of what it should be.
.
By total accident.
.
Needless to say I had a delicious protein shake post workout today- and he enough energy to de-weed 75% of my backyard. Cook dinner, and clean the kitchen. And I’m not absolutely dying like I have been for almost two months.

So if you do anything today- Eat your protein. Eat some veggies. Eat a fruit or two. And by god drink your water. 💧
