Well, I'm back with something new!
Here's a piece I planned out earlier this summer. The concept is built on how modern creature comforts, such as television, offer us a safe space. We just don't realize how quickly that safe space can consume and trap us. There are also elements of mass monitoring, or the classic "Big brother is watching" concepts incorporated.
This was a little ambitious. Dragging an old television into a forest at night wasn't fun, nor was getting it back into the car. However, I couldn't be happier with how this came out. This is probably one of my favorite images of 2019!
Make sure you scroll through all three slides. Check out the live-action video, and the final twist in the story at the end. You won't regret it.

Technical: Shot on a Fujifilm GFX100 and a 32-64mm lens. One Flashpoint Xplor 600 where the TV would be in a 24x36" softbox. Full CTO gel on the light, balanced for tungsten in post to cool the background. TV composited later. Lots of localized masking and haze, with a bit of environmental retouching. Finished with the @infinitetexturepanel. - 3 hours ago
