You’ve been asking for quick easy, breakfast recipes, so here you go!

I must admit I don’t eat the most conventional breakfast- not everyone is ok with Brussels sprouts first thing in the morning. 🤷🏽‍♀️ So here’s two popular ones that are easy to make and you can make in bulk and pop in the microwave in the morning.

Slow Cooker Steel Cut Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal 
Ingredients
* Nonstick cooking spray
* 1½ cups water
* 1½ cups unsweetened almond milk
* 3 cups dry steel-cut oats
* 5 small apples chopped
* ¼ tsp. sea salt (or Himalayan salt)
* 1 tsp ground cinnamon
* 2 Tbsp. pure maple syrup
* 2 Tbsp. ground flax seed
Instructions
1. Lightly coat inside of slow cooker with spray.
2. Add water, almond milk, oats, apples, salt, cinnamon, maple syrup, and flax seed; mix well. Cook for 5 to 7 hours on low (or 2 to 3 hours on high), or until edges are brown but not burned.
Recipe Notes
* Times can vary. In order to make sure oatmeal doesn’t burn, test it out the first time during the day to see how long it takes the oatmeal to cook in your slow cooker.
* Leftover oatmeal can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days, or frozen in individual portions.

Egg White Breakfast Burrito 
Ingredients
* 1 Tbsp. olive oil
* 1 Tbsp. finely chopped red bell pepper
* 1 Tbsp. finely chopped yellow bell pepper
* 1 Tbsp finely chopped green bell pepper
* 1 Tbsp. finely chopped red onion
* 3 large egg whites
* 1 8-inch whole wheat flour tortilla warm
* 1 slice low-sodium turkey bacon cooked, chopped
* Ground black pepper optional
* 2 Tbsp. fresh tomato salsa
Instructions
1. Heat oil in medium nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Add bell peppers and onion; cook, stirring frequently, for 3 to 4 minutes or until soft.
3. Add eggs; cook, over medium heat, stirring frequently, for 2 to 3 minutes, or until eggs are set.
4. Top tortilla with egg mixture, turkey bacon, and pepper (if desired).
5. Roll tortilla burrito-style.
6. Serve with salsa

Sometimes we even create the obstacle with unbelief.  It seems unattainable or doable. It's too hard for a girl like me.

Seriously, your goals and your life is too important to settle, to give up, to decide it's too hard.

Perhaps you think you could never do what I'm doing. You wonder why anyone would ever follow you. You're still working on stretching for those goals, and you don't feel like you're ever gonna get there.

I soooooo get that.  I could let the obstacles that slow me down - or worse - make me feel like a failure be the obstacle that makes me give up.  But then I'd miss the chance to be here for those that are counting on me to show up, first of all me.

Life will always have obstacles, but you don't have to give them permission to run your life.  Believe. Believe in what you can do.  I do.

This is #3weekspostpartum with baby 3 and mama’s itching to get back at it. 💪🏽

Been feeling great, just giving myself till 4 weeks post baby to get back into some modified workouts since I want to really preserve all the healing that’s taken place so I don’t take any steps backward.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Not itching to “get my body back” or anything of the sort. It’s never going to look like it did before; just a familiar version; something new and I can’t stinking wait to see what that is! Let’s get to work! 👊🏽

SO ready for workouts to become a part of my routine again because let’s face it — it’s mama’s sanity time. ✌🏽

Wine is good at the end of a long day. Sweets are yummy in the moment. But there’s nothing like the therapeutic release a workout can give a postpartum mama with two toddlers, a newborn and allllll those dang hormones racing through her body. Ya feel me?! 😂

I’m feeling good, but feeling ready to get back to myself. Postpartum for the first month or two is this wonky in between time where I don’t quite feel like myself—have you been there too? (I feel like no one ever talks about that part.)

Schedules are weird.
Workouts are on hold.
There’s very little time just for me.
My sweet tooth is outta control.
I’m famished all the time from breastfeeding.
Everything is squishy and my boobs are freakin’ huge.
I could cry at the drop of a hat, over anything.
And I constantly struggle between wanting to get out of the house, but also wanting to stay in snuggled up with my baby, no visitors and just spending allllll my time with my little crew. Just us.

Seriously—hormones are dang crazy; right?! Talk about a rollercoaster and us mama’s are over here just trying to do our best and keep the family alive, everyone fed, the house afloat, and us sane enough to feel like we are actually a good mama during this crazy time.

Saturday Weigh-In: ⬇️ 1.8 lbs! That’s right, I’m less than one pound away from a total weight loss of 20 lbs! I didn’t go to a workshop last week because of Welles’ surgery, so technically this is roughly a two-week loss. However, I also didn’t workout or track much during the week of his surgery, so I’m assuming most of this is from the work I put in this past week.
•
For most of the month of October we will be visiting family in Syracuse. I’m planning on going to workshops while we are there, although there might be one or two that I’ll miss. Still going to be tracking and bringing my workouts with me! 🏃‍♀️ .

My finisher exercise from this morning 💪🤢💪😜
I have to confess it is not an easy exercise, it's very challenging. When I first tried it,  I ended up getting hurt but throughout experience, courses and practice it has become a bit easier. I often see people using the machines at the gym incorrectly and sometimes I approach them to give advise but some people don't like it. We all start somewhere please take advise or do your research before  you risk getting injured (it's not fun). Being/getting fit is amazing but we have to be careful.

We had the most adventurous day yesterday. We woke up with no plans but the kids wanted to get out of the house. So we started out with a picnic at Fort Ben followed by a bike ride. Then headed downtown for ice cream, the candy store, and a carriage ride. And all 3 kids actually behaved 😳

My husband propped his phone up on top of the babies stroller and wanted a family pic. I hesitated because we all looked a hot mess. But it turned out to be one of my favorite family photos ever. .

No one is dressed up. The kids hair is a mess from their bike helmets. Eleanor is teething and eating on her hand. We’re all sweaty. But it’s real. And now it represents one of the best family days we’ve had in awhile. .

Creating memories with my little tribe is my absolute favorite thing to do. And with this clan, it’s always a crazy adventure.
