MMA Speed done.
Focusing on the things that frustrate me--the negative energy, the people that have wronged me, the experiences and trauma and stresses I have lived through--provides me with energy to push through my workouts. Particularly with Core de Force, as I can easily imagine a rear knee to someone's face 🤷 And it gives me an outlet for those feelings. As I said last week, I'm in a much better place than I was even a year ago; but when I need a kick in the butt, I can pull those things out of their box and use them. In this way, my experiences still have use but they no longer hurt me.
I've been reading--and rereading--Shaun T's book "T is for Transformation" and I love it. I love his tying-in of real life experience and personal growth to show whats possible. And it was a wonderful gift to receive from someone who cares about my desire to achieve personal growth ❤ Its helped me tremendously, and I'm sure it will continue to do so for some time.
Bug missed her therapy this morning; I apparently shut my alarm off instead of hitting snooze, and I woke up when we should have been leaving. But its ok, she will have it again next week; and truth be told, I needed the sleep. Been feeling off the last few nights, tured to the point of nausea, so a little sleep didn't hurt.
Tomorrow I have my own therapy, as well as my third MRI. Brain and cervical scans show no nerve or neurological damage, which is great; however, still no answers on the reasons for my falling and other issues. I fell again last week at work, though nothing serious. I'm worried that I am going to have a serious incident at some point, though.
Time for a shower and some breakfast, then off to work!
