YOU NEED THIS CARDIO CIRCUIT! I felt so strong and I love to mix things up so this one was fun as well! I know I added the versa climber but if you don’t have one at home or at your gym you can substitute it with any other cardio exercise. For example, using a jump rope is an efficient cardio exercise. ⁣⁣

▶️Versa climber 3min (Substitute this with any other cardio exercise and set a timer that is good for you, for me I liked using this machine for 3min)⁣⁣

I love posting home workout ideas for functional fitness. 💡

They’re great if you travel for work, are going on vacation, or simply don’t have access to a gym.
.
But on a daily basis, I don’t think bands and straps and bodyweight plyometrics are going to cut it for most of your muscle-building, strength-gaining goals.
.
(This might make for a good podcast episode later on, but let’s skip to the real point here!)

💡 At some point, lifting challenging loads for a challenging number of reps will simply be the best way to reach most of your goals.
.
💡 Think about the Hip Thrust for a moment.
.
This exercise relies on the largest muscles in your body - your gluteus maximus. 🍑
.
With that kind of size, most of you reading this could eeeeeeeasily do hip thrusts with 100, 150, even 200 lbs with a little practice.
.
Yet how often do you copy IG workouts that use bodyweight hip thrusts? Or donkey kicks, or side lying leg raises?
.
If you have access to heavier weights, at the gym or at home, use them. 😁
.
💡 I’ll still be posting home workout ideas of course, but I’d like to help you out by posting more about my actual daily workouts! They aren’t as innovative or exciting to watch, but I hope they inspire you to challenge yourself - so you can grow in strength and in confidence!

💡 Here’s my Pull Workout from last night.

I’m currently running a PPL split (Push, Pull, Legs) which I looooooooove because I’m not always able to fit in 5 or 6 workouts each week.

Anyway, here’s the exercise list for you to check out!

A1. Landmine Row (wide elbows to hit the rear delts better!)
.
B1. Lat Pulldown (pull-ups work too!)
.
C1. Straight Arm Pulldown (such a great stretch and contraction of the lats!)
C2. Seated Preacher Hammer Curl (no joke for your biceps and brachialis!)
.
D1. Clean (super fun and great for the traps!)
D2. Deadstop Row (I “cheated” to help overload the eccentric half of the lift!)
.
E1. Supinating Curl (this one hits elbow flexion, supination, and shoulder flexion - the three main movements of the biceps!)

When you wake up. How do you start your day?

Do you stay in bed, snooze you alarm and turn to the other side. Do you spring out of bed ready for action?

I’m always amazed by how much my motivation determines my accomplishments in a given day. 
The days I wake up with the alarm clock or earlier, I feel energized to take on my daily tasks and go an extra mile.

When I’m feeling sluggish and keep snoozing the alarm, I drag my feet through the day waiting for it to become an evening.

That’s why I try to get my motivation going the first thing in the morning. It can be a very symbolic thing only known to you, like repeating a motivational saying, putting on your favorite robe, etc. .

It’s a series of exercises that you do with as little rest in between as you can manage. ⁠⠀
