The verdict is in on the @woolworths_au frozen salmon fillets $6.30 for 2. I’m picky and I would probably not buy them again 🙈 Hubby didn’t mind them, but I found them ‘fishy’. I know, I’m using the word ‘fishy’ to explain fish but there really is no other word 😂 If there are other freezer friendly fish you recommend that are good value, let us know below 👇🏼Always on the look out!
The kids had leftovers tonight which they were desperate to eat (bolognese from last night), but I cooked the extra salmon anyway to flake and use in a cold soba noodle salad tomorrow for lunch. They love fish ❤️
Salmon with miso soba noodles
My noodle sauce was made up of 3 tbsp red miso paste, 1 tbsp each brown sugar, rice wine vinegar, soy. 1 tsp grated or jar ginger, 1/2 cup warm water. I simply warmed up the sauce in a pan, dropped in the veg and cooked noodles and served the grilled salmon on top (I marinated the salmon in soy and sesame oil). I sprinkled sesame seeds on mine along with some chilli sauce. Simple, yummy dinner ❤️ - 50 minutes ago
