Preserved Lemons recipe 🍋🍋 On each 1 lemon washed well
1 Tsp regular salt or coarse salt
1 Tsp sweet paprika
1 bay leaves
1/2 Tsp olive oil
Mason jar, make sure to sterilized with hot water before.
Combine the salt and sweet paprika in a bowl
Trim the end of each lemon and slice it to 1/2 inch. Dip each slice into the salt and paprika mixture. Place the bay leaves into the jar and add the lemons.
Push in the lemons in tightly so they are squeezed together. Use the end of the lemons to squeeze a bit juice on the top. Add olive oil and leave it in a cool spot for at least 5 days.
After 5 days, I'm chopping all the lemons in a food processor and then I have lemons paste.
Great with, chicken, fish and sauces.
