If you know me, the only reason I go to parties is for the cake.
I get jealous of the judges on the baking championship shows on #FoodNetwork .
last night I had Oreos after dinner and I remembered a time when I would completely restrict myself from thinking about anything that had sugar in it. let alone eat it.😅 I mean yeah… In a perfect world we would be able to control every urge we ever had that wasn’t “good for us.” But, that’s impossible (thanks a lot EVE’! 🍎) So many times I hear people say…, Oh, I can’t eat that. I’m on a diet.” And I Think back to a time where I lived in that mindset too.
Miserable. Deprived. Stressed.
You know.. the mindset where you tell yourself You are going to cut out 5 different food groups until you reach a weight loss goal or fit into your favorite jeans again??? I’m not proud of some of the things I’ve done in the past… But, we all have done some really stupid things.
I’ve popped weight loss pills...
Restricted myself from eating for lonnggg periods of time...
Only ate 1 type of food for an extended amount of time... tried to stay low calorie.. low fat... and inevitably, I would have success for a short bit before I caved and couldn’t take it anymore and then binge on everything I deprive myself of. I would gain what I lost plus some.
Is this sounding familiar??? Have your Oreos. Your ice cream. YOUR CAKE and learn to still see results.
The holidays are coming up and I don’t know about you but, I’m not about to deprive myself of all the yummy food I love. So… If you’re ready to learn how to be healthy , feel your best and still eat the food you love … Message me!
