I don’t know if any of you know this, but I make my own henna paste. I don’t bulk purchase online. Each ingredient is specific— Rajasthani henna powder, water, fructose, and essential oils. I love using lavender because it makes me happy. If you know me, you know that I’m obsessed with the colour, fragrance, and taste of lavender lol (I should have been a mermaid). I DO NOT use henna that contains chemicals such as para-phenylenediamine or PPD, which to many causes chemical burns that can leave long lasting scars. This chemical is often found in hair dyes. Can you imagine putting hair dye on your skin then, leaving it there for several hours? Yikes, no thank you.
You can trust that the henna paste we use is 100% natural✨ •
This henna was done in a beautiful space called The Wild Mother. We were invited in September to participate in the Shop Share event hosted by @thewildmother , @saltandwaterco , and @sweetyieldstudio !
So thankful to have had the opportunity to create my art in such a welcoming and warm environment! - 7 hours ago
