Some of my quad and core focused gym session today 👊🏻
🎯
1: High Bar Back Squat. It has been months and months since I squatted as I’ve been working on correcting a long standing ankle issue that has had knock-on effects up my kinetic chain due to subtle compensations. Today was my first attempt and I have to say it felt really comfortable for my body. Now, I just have to build up strength again.

2: Bulgarian Split Squats. Feel the quads and glutes burn. This is also a great exercise to assess asymmetry in the lower body.

3: Reverse Nordic Curls. Build strength in the quad muscles, particularly the rectus femoris. This exercise is great for preventing quad strains and also as a rehab exercise when recovering from a quad strain

4: All 4s Plate Pull Across (that’s what I call them anyway..) Feel your whole body work doing these. Your quads core and shoulders will all be on fire.

5. Ab Wheel Rollout. Focusing on the core and lats with this one.
