HIPS! Even thinking about stretching my hips makes me genuinely cringe. My hips are probably the tightest part of my body and require a lot of patience and time to allow them to release and stretch properly. There’s something about it that makes me feel vulnerable and slightly nervous to open them up. 😰
However after a good yin yoga session focusing on opening them up, I always feel so refreshed, energised and my hips just feel “juicy” (yogi’s you know what I mean by that feeling!) ✨
What challenges you definitely changes you! This is my biggest challenge and something that does not come easily for me. But I know I need to do it! All the sitting down and compressing them only tightens them more.
Just have to take it day by day, breath by breath, slowly but surely. Form over depth. 🧘♀️ Maybe one day I’ll get into the splits 😂 #icandream - 5 days ago
