Have a combo #WednesdayWisdom and #WCW for you today!
When I was 6, my father had us lobbying for homeschool rights and I skipped down the hall holding my senators hand.
When I was 11-13, we regularly worked the polls and phone banks for various candidates.
When I was 16-18 I worked for the board of elections repairing and calibrating voting machines.
I fell off of being involved politically after that for a long time, but these ladies y’all!
They inspired me to push through glass ceilings, to not be afraid to be who I was, that my voice was needed and that I could make a real difference for our industry and the people we serve.
So, my statement to you is this:
1- it’s never too late to jump back into something you are passionate about.
2- surround yourself with inspiring people.
If you are the smartest person in the room, you’re in the wrong room!
