OUR PAST IS OUR PAST, and no amount of pushing it away, or wishing our choices were different will change that, but WE are the architects of our future, and WE are in charge of how much or little the past haunts us. Our state of being, today, foreshadows what our future choices will be. Are we still holding tight to those old stories that keep us stuck in the painful past? What would happen if we let them go, set them free to disintegrate into the aether, never to have power over us, again? I know, it seems so scary to imagine ourselves without those things that we think define us, but the truth is, when we let all of those stories go, and start creating new ones based on self-love and being present in our bodies, and our power, we expand, and that expansion never stops. Our spirits become bigger, brighter and lighter, and we can’t help but make healthier, happier choices for our future.
Breathwork was my way into and out of my old patterns and stories. At first, it was super scary to shine that flashlight on all of my past discretions, to look at them and feel into them. It was murky and filled with shame, but I kept breathing and releasing, and with almost no added effort, all of that stuff got really small, and eventually started to melt away, and disappear. The best part was that I willingly let it all go. I didn’t need it, anymore. I was starting a new story, and I’m madly in love with this new one.♥️
What will your future story be? Think about it and, if you feel compelled to, answer below! I’d really like to hear it.♥️
