DO THIS IF YOU DON’T HAVE A BARBELL! 🚔
This is one of my go-to’s in a hotel gym or a community gym.
Most of these gyms don’t have barbells or a squat rack. So you gotta learn to get creative to maximize your session. Even on leg day. 🍑
2-DB front squat is a great squat you can do if you don’t have access to a barbell.
I love it for multiple reasons.
1️⃣ It keeps you honest. You can’t cheat this or else the DB’s will fall forward
2️⃣ It lights up your core
3️⃣ You can do it anywhere
Note: Because you will never be able to hold DB’s heavy enough to match your front or back squat, adding pauses to the lift is a good trick.
Here I added a 2 second pause at the bottom.
It’s very important that you maintain tension throughout the entire lift!
The more effort you give the harder it is. So challenge yourself!
