Week 7, Day 4; SUPER heavy lower: This is a proud moment for me right here, and I will say I actually was like a hair away from passing out under that bar. Deadlifting my third attempt last meet wasn’t anything compared to my PR for a banded front box squat. Coach @hinech89 kept pushing me to reach for more, and I did, well, because I can.
Even after my long week of teaching, where I’m pretty much 90% physically exhausted each day, I still give my all in the gym. Today was no exception.
I’m still feeling it, and until I got into the sport, didn’t realize how taxing powerlifting is.
Still focused during every training day, bringing my A game no matter what to each session, and attacking the rest of my weeks of prep hard.
Hitting these PR’s only make me more motivated and hungry for more. So yeah, I’m pretty hyped!!
