Let's talk regain. It happens. It sucks but it's a good way to see where you might have gone wrong. I truly believe my main issue was sustainability. I thought I beat my eating disorder when I was 15lbs away from my 100lbs weight loss goal. I slipped back into old habits. Stopped counting calories. Stopped listening to my body's ways of telling me what it needs. Gained 20lbs and I realised that I am not cured nor will I probably ever be. It's cyclical for me it appears. I have been back to counting calories and ensuring that I give my body what it needs. I steer away from the sweets (after losing the weight, I started to crave sweets. Never have before! I've always been one for salty treats not sweets). I stick to around 1500 as opposed to 900-1200 a day. That was not sustainable. It was fine for a long time but I clearly was lacking something. You're not alone, there's a loooot of us. Let's all work with eachother instead of against. Stop obsessing over others journeys. We're all different. We are all at different chapters too. Now I am 29lbs away from my goal and I am slowly getting there. .

Did you know the building block of all of our sex hormones is cholesterol?

Hormonal dysregulation can be associated with disrupted cholesterol production which can cause a number of problems like fatty liver and metabolic syndrome.

The liver is the primary organ to synthesize cholesterol (about 20-25%). The creation of cholesterol begins with a molecule of acetyl CoA and one molecule of acetoacetyl-CoA. These are dehydrated to form HMG-CoA. It continues through a number of steps (swipe ➡️) until the final product--- cholesterol.

Cholesterol is necessary for a number of other things too:
⭐️Supports nerve health- Myelin sheath (what cover nerves) is rich in cholesterol and helps to protect the nerves and allow for better communication, i.e improved brain function.
⭐️Supports Gall Bladder- In the liver, cholesterol is converted to bile which is stored in the gallbladder. This is released with eating to help make fats and fat soluble vitamins like A, D, E, K better absorbed.

Don’t judge my stretched and frizz filled curls too hard. We’re on day 6 with no refreshes and the curls finally started to fall this morning.

Came out of hibernation today to get to the gym for 40 minutes of cardio, 40 minutes of weights. Bench press, pin press, and RDLs. All fingers crossed I’ll be complaining about sore muscles tomorrow 🤞🏼

At the recommendation of my health coach, I’m slowly working my way through the book The Obesity Code by Dr Jason Fung. I’ve been using the information I’m absorbing to change the way I view going to the gym, which I think will be have a positive impact on my mental health. Instead of viewing it as punishment or a requirement that I have to do so many times a month, I’m working on seeing it as a chance to treat myself by taking care of and moving my body. Also, finding out how strong you really are is a huge confidence and self appreciation boost 💪🏼 feel better physically AND mentally? Hell yes!

Ovo je ogroman problem kod zena jer se pojavljuje sindrom policisticnih jajnika, sto vodi ka cistama, aknama, debljanju, hirutizmu. Kako hormone drzati u balansu? Pravilnom ishranom i treningom.
Doslovno sam pricala sa dvije djevojke koje su odbijale da to prihvate, jele su sve i svasta. Jedna je nedavno od doktora dobila dijetu o kojoj ja konstantno pricam, druga me poslusala nakon sto su se i kod nje pojavili jako nezgodni simptomi.
