The king of my dream crowns me royal
He has a white soul and heart so loyal
Glittering bracelet he fits on my wrist
Tenders gently the blushes and hues in my fist!
Imperial and majestic is all in all what I feel
Now I’ve known how those sore longings would heal
Prompting the butterflies in my stomach, he beguiles
Unwittingly puts me under a spell in a quick short while!
The gaps in his hands are the safest prison rods
He’s the splendid, dignified ambiance; regal as lords
Leaving me weathered, he by no means goes away
As he’s the sovereign of my heart and will always there stay!
I call him mine, I do, at the top of my voice
But the royal leader of my heart is so reserved and poised
His eyes sketch the oceans that are too profound
My love for him doesn’t flinch but also makes no sound!
The stolen kisses that I mark on his tranquil lips
Might taste like the stately, perhaps bland wine sips
The head of the state of my existence is unaware
Oblivious to my deafeningly silent love and care!
The crown is nowhere to be found
Where is my bracelet, I inclined to hound
I was regal, was with him at the moment or no?
The dream I dreamt tore all the glitters and glow! ~Rehmat Tanzila©
