this quick bowl was a mix of rainbow salad, beetroot, chickpeas and rice. can make this one in under 10 mins no problems, and it tastes great. the sauce I used this time with the rice was wholegrain mustard, was pretty good but it's not the best I've eaten

this started off as a stir-fry but just because I cooked it in a wok, doesn't make it a stir-fry 😂 with edamame, broccoli, radishes, bok choy and tofu it's a nutritional beast! This meal boasts more than 30 grams of protein, (check your portion size for exacts) so it's no brainer as a light meal before or after workouts

a simple yet great meal this one. A mix of green peas, spinach & edamame for the nutritional factor, and sweet potato falafels for everything else. now the greens are ultra healthy and pack a ton of nutrients, however the falafels are from the M&S plant kitchen range, and are not great due to the high fat content (super tasty so can cheat once in a while 😂) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I saw a great post on Pinterest with a ton of meal ideas, and I so I put my twist on one of them. This is a mix of wholegrain and wild rice, avocado, chickpeas seasoned with BBQ flavouring & a handful of salad (which is mostly buried). For a kick of heat I put some sriracha sauce over the rice. .

🔹 Nutrition - 
This meal gives high protein because of the chickpeas and mixed rice, a ton of carbs to burn off in the gym, but also a moderate amount of fat. You can't always avoid fat as you need it to live. Avocados are high in fat but they have so many additional benefits, I don't see an issue with eating them 1/2 times a week

So I have been eating a lot of rice and pasta recently and fancied a change. This is sort of like a plant based beef hash, and it's a mega easy and beyond nutritional meal. I cooked the soya mince first for 5 minutes on its own and then just chucked everything else in. Basic nutritional information is: 98g carbs, 63g protein and 13g fat

So after researching energy providing foods for both post or pre workout, it turns out bananas are one of the best natural options. For the last week I have been eating two before both cardio & strength training, and I definitely had a noticeable increase in performance. As of next week I plan to have a shake before and then 2 bananas afterwards to see what works best for me. 
Eating just two bananas will give you 40% of your daily B6, 28% of your daily vitamin C and 20% of your daily potassium. .

A moderately high protein and nutritionally rich dinner, so high in vitamin A my tracker states I'm 500% over my target! 
This is a mix of spelt, white rice, quinoa, chickpeas, carrot, beetroot and avocado. I used sweet chilli to add a little kick of flavour, and I found this mixed very well. Next time I will be adding some spinach to this dish, and may replace the sweet chilli sauce out for nutritional yeast for a different taste
