Some days it’s hard to push play. I find all kinds of “excuses” to d_r_a_g my feet.  So I’m not starting until after 9 am. I’m 2 1/2 hours PAST the time that I had originally wanted to start my workout.  I have no real excuse, just being lazy, I guess.  However, I have #goals so I KNOW that I need to push play. So I did! I’m a sweaty mess, I think my scalp is even sweaty!! .  But did I hit any of my goals?  You bet your a$$ I did!!
1. Be consistent 
2. Do my best
3. Don’t stop! 
And what happened???
A. While I’m tired, I feel amazing!!!
B. I increased my weights!!

My daughter wanted to be a hiker/biker this morning. Needless to say, I was pumped. It took us 28 minutes to walk to the school and it took me 19 minutes to walk/jog back. I may or may not look like I just ran through 8 sprinklers.

After taking some time off my workouts while enjoying a little vacation, todays workout was a little humbling to say the least. I felt somewhat sluggish, had some aches and pains here and there, just felt like I’d been out of the game for a bit!
It totally gave me a slight glimpse into being a beginner again. I shared some about this in my stories today but I love that it put me into that mindset. 
Listen, I get it. Being a beginner is never easy. Starting something new is hard for most people. Working out for the first time in however long it’s been for you IS not going to be easy. Day 1 will be hard, you’ll feel like quitting. You’ll want to give up. You’ll probably think you can’t do it or you aren’t cut out for it. Day 2 you’ll most likely have a lot of those same thoughts. Heck even day 23 you will still have thoughts like that. What’s important is that you don’t give into them. You dont throw in the towel. It really is all a mental battle. All you have to do is show up, so your best and that’s it! Your body will not go where your mind doesn’t push it.
That’s what I did today! I only took 5 days off of a full years worth of never missing a workout. 5 DAYS was all and it brought me out today feeling like I was behind a bit. So I understand it’s not going to be easy for you if you haven’t exercised in awhile. That’s okay though, we all have to start somewhere. Let yourself be a beginner. Give yourself the credit you deserve for starting. 
You have to keep trying to get stronger, move a little faster and to not be as hard on yourself as you may be on Day 1. 
Most people give up way too early. Don’t be most people.

Finally getting to post this mornings 6am workout... full day of field trips and work meant no time to work out... or does it?! Ha heck no! Just set the alarm a little earlier and bust it out from ANYWHERE! I knew today was going to be crazy so it felt good to bust this out early.

#transform20 always does the trick for a quick HIIT session followed by some basic chest and triceps moves. Dumbbells are simple and effective, plus having a little set at home can really help with never missing a workout! Perform each move slow and controlled, 10-15 reps for 3 rounds! You’ll be toasted in all the right ways 😝

Day 70: Cardio Flow! 
So wasn’t feeling it today. I am feeling exhausted, allergies are crazy or I am getting a cold 🤷🏻‍♀️. And my arm is sore from the flu shot this afternoon. But not only did I do it, but I made it through all 8 rounds without stopping! It was a total mental game. I had to keep telling myself one more round, oh you are halfway there, one more, there is only 2 left just finish it! And I did! #strongereveryday

Working out in my jimjams today. 
Hey, they aren't compression leggings but today wasn't a cardio day so all good. 
I did, however, need to reach for my gloves as my hands were sweating so much I thought the weights would fly across the room.

Let’s be honest today. I wasn’t feeling today in general. Not getting up, not going to work, and certainly not working out when I got home. But I did get up, I did go to work (while not my most productive day I still did it..), and I did push play and get this workout done! Stronger for sure today! #strongereveryday
