4 weeks until Craig and climb up and down all 7400 steps inside Murrayfield Stadium. 
I got a good wee training session in today!! We are doing the challenge for the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH Scotland). They provide invaluable resources for anyone that is struggling with their mental health. Something we may all face at some point during our lives.

Thanos clicked his fingers right at the end of my boxing session with @full_spec_head_coach and I turned into a watery mess on the matt πŸ₯Š

Completely changed my training around since I've been back to 'work'. As well as doing a technical boxing session per week I'm doing more HIIT style training, a little running, 3 resistance based sessions per week and 1 arse about session with ropes and kettlebells. Also joined a badminton club and training with them twice a week. 
Having a new hobby is decent! 
Loving training again, the mix is keeping me motivated and keeping it all fresh. 
Don't get stuck slogging day to day, you'll never move forward. 
That's relevant for work and training. If it needs changed, change it!

Boxing is great for your fitness, a great stress reliever and is just bloody good fun! 
Can be done anywhere...you don't need to travel to a gym for it...I can come to you!! I had this set at 100 steps per minute and I was burst after 10 mins, this is some challenge. 
Well worth it though, and what a charity to represent. 
Climbing 7400 steps is going to be a tough old battle, but one we will get through together.

SAMH is a charity that helps people to deal with their mental health when life becomes a bit of a struggle. I'm lucky to be doing this challenge with a friend of over 30 years, some people have to face tough challenges day to day on their own.

SAMH are amazing organisation and every penny I can raise for them by doing this will be very much appreciated 😊

We are doing it to raise funds for the amazing, and very important charity, SAMH, the Scottish Association for Mental Health. 
We all have mental health, but some of us suffer from poor mental health and at times find life tough. SAMH does amazing work to help sufferers of poor mental health. I have gone through waves of good and bad times, I have done for many years. I have paid for private therapy, I've been referred for therapy and I have self reffered for therapy, but many people struggle to know where to turn, so by doing this event we want to help raise awareness of the help that is available to EVERYONE. 
I'm lucky that I have good physical health, this has been an invaluable tool to use to help when I have really struggled, hence the reason I do all sorts of daft events! So, I thought why not use that to help raise some funds! 
7400 steps to climb up and down!! It is symbolic of the struggles with poor mental health; each day can feel like an up hill (stair!!) battle, but it really is about moving 1 step forward at a time. Eventually you'll be able to look back and see how far you have progressed πŸ™‚

Edinburgh has to be one of the easiest places to get your steps in! It's so bloody amazing!! I always bang on about how important exercise done outside of the gym is. 
It doesn't matter if it's walking, running or cycling, just move move move!! Today's walk was assisted by the Chernobyl Podcast 😯 If you haven't watched the program, why not? A collection of my favourite running races! 
My first half marathon, Edinburgh Rock'n'Roll. Never thought I'd run quicker than the 1:50 I did that day, I did, got down to 1:28.

My first Marathon at Loch Ness. This will never be topped or forgotten. Forever will be the race that means the most to me. 
Cross Country relay in Peebles! The first time I had done a relay at Cross Country, was excellent. Really miss the team training with @edinburgh_ac

My first (and last) Ultra Marathon. Having done no distant running for a long long time I ran/moved the 33 miles powered by emotion and stubbornness. 
Running became a huge part of my life, a big aspect of my life that I miss, but I'm proud of some of my running achievements. Actually gets me down knowing I'll never get back to where I was.

Oh... I also beat a Team GB London Olympian (runner) in a 1 mile race πŸ˜‚ those who know will chuckle at this, I was flat out, the Olympian wasn't, but I'll still claim it πŸ…

#tourdeforth cycle event this morning! Awesome cycling over the Road bridge! The elevation during the final 30 miles, maybe not so awesome.

The course was shorter than it should've been, bit frustrating, but not frustrating enough that I wanted to carry on and hit 100km πŸ™ˆ

Easy like Sunday morning 😁
