Might be the “least perfect” platter I’ve posted to IG, but given your awesome responses to Friday’s TAKE-OUT DINNER BOARD on Stories, I’m adding it on HIGHLIGHTS and answering your FAQ’s here. As a recap, most of the items were from a local Mediterranean restaurant (kebobs, rice, salad, hummus, baba ganoush) because none of us wanted to cook. The rest were items from Trader Joe’s (dolmas, carrots, cucumbers, flatbread, grapes, olives and lemons for garnish). SWIPE to see the “before” takeout pics and ICYMI, head on over to Highlights to see how it came together.
It served 4 people with tons of leftovers (half the protein was eaten, half the dolmas, and lots of olives were left behind). This could easily feed 6-7, depending on the guests. And I only added half the takeout rice to the board, but there was more if needed. It took about 10 minutes to put together. And, lastly, for those who asked about the dessert board and the chocolate hummus: 3 of 4 girls loved it. One wasn’t into it.
Soooo... would you make a takeout board? What kind of takeout should I do next? #CheeseBoardingSchool #BoardsforDinner - 7 days ago
